We will be accepting New Student Registration for the 2025-26 School Year beginning on June 1, 2025.
Upon completion of online registration, it is essential that you contact the appropriate school building(s) in order to schedule an appointment for the finalization of the registration process.

Student re-registration for the 2025-26 school year opens on May 1st. Current Miami Trace families are strongly encouraged to complete re-registration as early as possible through the FinalForms website.

If you are registering for the 2025-2026 school year and do not reside within the Miami Trace Local School District, you must complete an Open Enrollment application, which can be picked up at the Miami Trace Central Office.Click Here for Kindergarten Registration Information
If you already have other children registered at Miami Trace, please follow these directions:
- Go to FinalForms
- Select "Parent Login" - DO NOT select "New Account"
- Select the blue box - “Click To Switch To 2026-2027 Registration”

To fully complete the registration process, you will need the following:
- child's birth certificate
- vaccination records or exemption form
- proof of residency in the form of a utility bill (gas, water, or electric), lease agreement, or mortgage closing document
These items can be uploaded to FinalForms or in person with an appointment at Miami Trace Elementary School.

We appreciate your interest in the Early Entrance to Kindergarten program. Please be aware that evaluation and consideration does not necessarily guarantee acceptance to kindergarten. Entrance decisions will be made following the screening process.
Miami Trace seeks to provide a quality educational experience for all children and will carefully consider enrolling students early to our kindergarten program. Please review the following guidelines for evaluating your child for qualification. Please complete and submit all parts of the referral and consent forms prior to July 1 of the year in which you wish to have your child enter kindergarten. These will be considered consent for your child to participate in the screening process. You will be contacted to schedule your child’s screening and evaluation.

Miami Trace Local School District is now accepting applications for Open Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. Open enrollment applications will be accepted from March 1 to April 30, 2025.
Anyone wishing to apply may do so by completing the Open Enrollment Application for each student they intend to be considered for open enrollment.

Open Enrollment applications must be completed annually and must be received or postmarked on or before April 30 to be considered.
