In the Miami Trace Secondary Curriculum Department, our mission is simple: to provide every student with the opportunities and relationships they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

We oversee multiple facets of the academic experience for Miami Trace Middle and High Schools—including core curriculum development, course offerings, state assessments, professional development, the English Learner Program, and alternative learning pathways. By collaborating directly with teachers and administrators, we ensure our instructional practices align with Ohio’s Learning Standards while keeping classrooms innovative and engaging.

We understand that preparing students for a competitive, global workplace means looking beyond school walls. That’s why we strive to build partnerships with business and industry, as well as provide opportunities for advanced college coursework.

We are leading the way for positive educational change by providing support for our teachers, parents, and students.
