Miami Trace Preschool is housed within Miami Trace Elementary School.

Miami Trace Preschool is comprised of two classrooms offering two half-day sessions each (four total sessions daily).

Preschool students attend five days a week, Monday through Friday.

Two half-day sessions will be offered.
- 8:45am - 11:15am (Session 1)
- 1:15pm - 3:45pm (Session 2)

After considering each family’s preference, student assigned sessions will be determined by a member of the MTES administrative team. Preferences are not guaranteed. Families will be notified of their assigned session by August 1st.

The preschool will follow the school calendar; however, the start date for preschool will differ from the grades 1-12 start date. See information above for the preschool start dates.

Transportation services are being evaluated at this time. More information will be provided soon.

Students will receive a daily snack; however, meals are not included in the preschool program.

Preschool seats are limited. Not all applicants will be accepted, and some students may be placed on a waitlist.
Acceptance criteria includes:
- Children ages 4 and 5 (up to Kindergarten eligible age)
- Miami Trace Local School District residents
- Miami Trace Local School District staff children
- Children who have qualified for preschool special education
- Depending on availability, acceptance may also be afforded to non-resident children and 3 year old children

Any parent/guardian interested in sending their child to Miami Trace Preschool must first complete the online preschool application. See “Enrolling in Miami Trace Preschool” above for step-by-step instructions and links.

Families will be notified of their status by July 2 via phone call and/or email.

The following items must be provided in addition to the completion of FinalForms registration. Documents can be uploaded in FinalForms or provided to enrollment secretary at Miami Trace Elementary.:
- Primary guardian’s state issued identification
- Proof of Residency
- Utility bill (water, gas, electric)
- Mortgage Statement
- Lease Agreement
- Birth Certificate
- Physical Examination completed by licensed physician
- Preschool Medical Form: Preschool Medical Form - MTES
- Preschool Dental Form: Preschool Dental Form - MTES
- Immunization record or completed immunization opt out form
- 4 DPT, 4 Polio, 4HIB, 2 Varicella, 3 Hepatitis B, Lead and Hematocrit testing

Yes, open-enrolled students may be considered for acceptance based on seat availability. Students who are residents of Miami Trace School District will have first priority.

Yes, there is a $35 non-refundable application fee, paid through MySchoolBucks.

Tuition is $270 per month, billed in 10 monthly insallments ($2,700 annually).

Tuition payments are due in advance by the 1st day of each month.

The preferred method of payment is through MySchoolBucks.

Yes, there will be a $25 late fee for tuition not paid by the due date.

No, any student who does not have tuition payments up to date, may not attend until their balance is paid.
