The Miami Trace Local School District would like to announce that the Miami Trace Preschool Program received a five-star rating during their first Step Up to Quality evaluation conducted in the spring of 2017.
Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) is a five-star rating system administered by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). This rating system recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality benchmarks over and above minimum health and safety licensing standards. The steps are based on national research identifying the program standards that lead to improved outcomes for children.
The Miami Trace Preschool is a five day a week program. Hours of operation are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, and serves students who are four and five-years old. The program is housed in the Miami Trace Elementary School. Miami Trace Preschool staff have over 50 years of combined early childhood teaching experience. We offer a state-approved curriculum that is aligned with the Ohio Early Learning Standards.
If you wish to enroll your child in our preschool program, please contact the Miami Trace Elementary School at (740) 333-2400.
